“Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood.”

Marie Curie

Many people live in fear of things that they do not understand. They are afraid of the dark, of spiders, of death. But nothing in life should be feared. It is only to be understood. The darkness is simply the absence of light. Spiders are simply creatures that have evolved to survive in a different way than we have. And death is simply the end of one journey and the beginning of another.

Marie Curie was a pioneering Polish-born physicist and chemist who made groundbreaking contributions to the field of science. Born on November 7, 1867, she is best known for her research on radioactivity, which led to the discovery of the elements polonium and radium. Curie became the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the only person to win Nobel Prizes in two different scientific fields (Physics and Chemistry). Her tireless dedication to scientific exploration and her unwavering commitment to her work continue to inspire generations of scientists and women worldwide.
