Flower of Zen

The two samurai sat together meditating, contemplating the day’s lessons. The older samurai opened his eyes slightly and smiled deeply. He could see himself in this young samurai. The flower of the samurai spirit grew and blossomed strongly in him, the wisdom and skills of the samurai had been passed on to the next generation just as his master had passed on to him.
