Hana Mi

The samurai women looked up from her rice paddy watching and listening to her children playing. Her gaze moved across the village which stretched up and down the valley. A sense of home and loyalty to the clan that she had helped to nurture was stronger than ever. She put down her tools and joined the children in their play. Laughing with the children she knew that her samurai husband would return any day now.
