Ronin

The old samurai worked his way across the sand while water washed over his feet. He reflected on his years of service to a Lord he no longer needed to answer to. Each wave washed away his scars and pain, a sense of freedom burning inside. Watching the waves come and go, with no sense of purpose, he was now free like the waves. He was now Ronin.
